I love Spring. This is the time of year I get the itch to get my house in order and start Spring Cleaning! I have a cleaning schedule I use to keep up on my daily housework and cleaning, but once a year I like to take a week or two and get everything organized. Last year I created this free Spring Cleaning Checklist to help me get to work and get my house all spic-and-span. But I also want to share a few Spring Cleaning tips to help you get your home organized and cleaned for Spring too.
1. Stock Up on all the supplies you’ll need. Nothing is worse than having the time and energy to finally tackle a project only to realize you don’t have the supplies you’ll need. I love to shop at SamsClub.com because not only do I get the absolute best prices because I’m a Sam’s Club Member, but they also have larger sized items or bulk packages, so I know I’m stocked up for a while. Nothing is better than having a pantry full of the things you need to keep your home clean.
2. Get your kids involved! I love to have my kids help me clean by using Lysol Disinfecting Wipes and . I loooove the convenience of using disinfecting wipes. I use them all the time! I use them in the bathroom, the kitchen, for doorknobs, light switches, and everything in between. My favorite thing is to give my kids a couple of Lysol wipes, and let them go to town, wiping whatever they want. It’s a great way to disinfect the things they touch every day. I also like using Lysol Disinfectant Spray, Crisp Linen Scent. Yummy.
We also have a little vacuum that my kids pull out when I am cleaning, so they get to clean along with me. It’s a great way to teach them how to help around the house.
3. Clean out closets and cupboards. This goes along with number 1. In the Spring, when I do my Spring Cleaning, I like to clean out my closets and cupboards. I purchase a big package of jumbo roll bath tissue and Marathon – Center Pull Paper Towel Rolls. This way I’ll know that I have enough toilet paper and paper towels to last a while. I love knowing we have extra supplies in the closet for when we need them. Cause nothing is worse than running out of toilet paper with 4 little kids!
4. Get new brooms and mops. I like the O-Cedar Professional Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop with Extra Refill. Its’ Easy Wring Spin Mop & Bucket System with 3 Extra Refills is sooo cool, and nothing helps motivate you like cool new cleaning items.
That’s it. Those are my 3 top Spring cleaning tips. What do you do to help keep up with spring cleaning?

Nice post, very interesting to read. Thanks for sharing this much respect
I love your spring cleaning routine, you are very organised and determined, which is a rare combination of characters. I also use the spring time to clean closets and cupboards, during the winter they get very disorganised and dusty. I also clean the oven, the gutters and the ventilation system in spring. I tried cleaning the garage last spring, but it turned out to be more difficult than I imagined.
