How to make a farmhouse style sign
- Get blank sign
You can easily build a farmhouse sign. I have a great tutorial on how to do it. Or you can buy a blank sign, premade. I found this one at Hobby Lobby.
- Cut Vinyl
I used my Silhouette Cameo 4 and cut my design out of adhesive vinyl. I found my design on the Silhouette Design Store.
- Weed Vinyl
Once you’ve cut your vinyl, You’ll need to weed the excess off.
- Apply Transfer Tape
After you’ve got your vinyl ready, you’ll put transfer tape on your vinyl.
- Apply Vinyl
Remove the backing from the vinyl. Apply the vinyl to your blank sign. Smooth the vinyl out onto your blank sign so there aren’t any bumps or creases. Then remove the transfer tape.
I love the way this cute sign looks in my boys’ room. It is cute, but simple and masculine at the same time.
