Our Basement Christmas Tree
When we finished our basement, there were a few things that I really looked forward to. Setting up a Christmas tree and making Christmas memories in this space was definitely at the top of that list.
I decided on the 7′ King Noble Fir from King of Christmas, and I have to tell you that I absolutely love it. This tree checked all of my boxes.
High Quality
First, I wanted something that was high quality. I have owned too many cheaply made trees that look like a hunk of shaved plastic, so I skipped the big box stores, and went straight to the source of quality Christmas Trees. It’s hard to pick out a tree without seeing it in person first, but I knew I could trust King of Christmas– everything they sell is really great quality and made to last.
Realistic
Next on my checkbox of demands for my Christmas tree- I wanted something that looked super realistic. For years, we’ve had the tradition of cutting a tree from the forest, and while we may still do that for another place in our home, I just absolutely adore the way real trees look.
I wanted my new Christmas tree to have the simple and classic look of a natural tree, with just a little more space between the branches; something that looks like it was actually grown in the woods, instead of a perfectly pruned Christmas tree farm. I wanted you to walk into my house and have to wonder if that was a real tree or not.
Easy to Set Up and Store
Another thing I knew I wanted in a tree was something easy to set up and easy to take down and store. I’m not lying to you when I say that this tree took 10 minutes to set up. I didn’t have to fluff any branches (insert happy dance!) or string lights on the tree for hours. It was just a quick setup of the stand, 3 pieces that fit into each other, and plugging it in the outlet! It looked amazing straight out of the box, which I loved.
I am also SUPER thrilled that the tree came with a storage bag. None of my cheap trees have ever come with a bag before. I know it’s going to help my tree stay looking great as I store it over the years. And, I’m so glad I won’t have to duct tape the box up each year and hope it doesn’t rip on me! Haha!
Beautiful Lights
The last demand I had for my Christmas tree was that I wanted it to have beautiful lights. Prestrung lights were a must have, and I wanted them to be really beautiful. This Noble Fir has the most beautiful warm and bright lights. I love that there are 8 different settings, so I can choose if I want the lights to twinkle, fade in and out, or stay solid.
This tree also comes with a remote control, which I really love, because I can turn it on and off, or change the modes easily. But if the remote control isn’t your thing, it also has a foot control, so you don’t have to climb behind the tree when you want to turn it on or off.
All in all, I could not be happier with how the King Noble Fir! It is gorgeous! At first glance, you can’t even tell it’s not a real tree, straight from the mountains. The ease of setup and storage is so nice! I am smitten with how it looks in the nighttime, with the lights twinkling. And the best thing about this tree is that I know it’s going to last me for years to come. I think I actually found the most perfect Christmas tree!
