DIY Tool Shelf
This DIY tool shelf is the perfect project to get your or workshop organized. Individual cubbies keep your powertools, hand tools, and toolboxes organized.
Our garage doubles as our workshop, so we don’t have a ton of space for our tools. It has become a huge problem Honestly, we needed an organization solution really bad!
So I partnered with Build Something to draw up plans for a tool shelf that would solve all of our organization and storage problems. And I came up with this awesome DIY tool shelf!

I had a few must-haves for my tool storage shelf. I wanted to make sure everything has a place. Because if something doesn’t have a place, there’s no way it’s going to get put away.
I decided to build little cubbies to hold all of my favorite power tools, so they are easy to grab, and then easy to put away too.
I love how all of my drills, nailers, saws, and paint sprayers all have their own little spots. It just makes my heart so happy.
I also knew I needed a place for small parts storage. So I picked up one of these small parts organizers from Amazon, and a couple of these little portable storage containers as well.
They will be great for loose screws, nuts and bolts, and other random little things that will make a mess around the shop.
I also knew I wanted a set of drawers to hold things like tape measurers, safety glasses, drill bits, and all of my jigs.
