Halloween Shelves {and a free printable!}

One of my most favorite places to decorate in my house are my cafe shelves. I showed you my everyday shelf decor a while back, and I’m so excited to show you how I decorated them for Halloween. They are a little bit spooky and a little bit fun, with bright colors scattered within. And I’m going to share a free printable too.

 It’s a little busy. But I love it! I love how colorful and fun it is. Everytime I look at these shelves, they make me smile. It’s so exciting and festive, and really adds a lot of Halloween fun to our home.

 I showed you how I made the little Frankenstein and Mummy candy dishes {here}.

The little witch came as a kit from Poppy Seed Projects. And the little ghosts and goblins wood board also came from Poppy Seed Projects, but you could easily make it yourself. It’s just a scrap piece of wood that’s been painted with some vinyl on top.

 I used a bunch of fall leaf garland that I got from the dollar store. I stuck a strand of leaves in a little brown metal basket thingy, along with a styrofoam pumpkin, also from the dollar store.

I made the little pumpkin and spider. See how {here}.

And I also stuck in a dollar store plate for a little extra pop of color. I’ve been meaning to throw a little vinyl something on there, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

 This little “BOO!” sign is a spare cabinet door that was painted on the inside with chalkboard paint. SUPER simple.

 And of course, I had to have a garland. I used a few pieces of Halloween scrapbook papers, cut them in triangles and hot glued them onto some twine. Such an easy little project, but it adds a lot!

This little skull came from the dollar store, and so did the pumpkin next to it. I just gave the pumpkin a coat of silver spray paint and stuck it on a few cute books stacked up.

And, lastly, is this cute little chalkboard printable. I have always loved this song. I remember my dad blaring the “purple people eater” song while we were trick or treating. So I made this little printable to go along with my Halloween decor.

And I’m offering it to you as a free printable.
