Homemade Sugar Scrub Recipe
I live in Utah and during the winter, it gets SO cold and dry here. Let’s just say that the harsh winters leave my hands (and everywhere else) feeling not so awesome. I love using sugar scrubs for my hands, or to scrub on my legs in the tub. But sugar scrubs can be pretty expensive, and I love being able to blend my own scents, and know what ingredients are going into my sugar scrub. So I came up with this great homemade sugar scrub recipe that will leave your skin feeling oh-so smooth and soft.
Ingredients:
Sguar (brown or white)
Coconut Oil
DoTerra Oil (see the end of this post for a great deal!)
cosmetic jars
Mix together 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup coconut oil, and a few drops of oil.
I used 4 drops of DoTerr peppermint oil, but you could use whatever oil you’d like. I recommend mixing up the sugar scrub, then add the drops of oil, 1 or 2 at a time until the scent is as strong as you’d like it to be.
Once you’ve got it all mixed up, you’re done! Stick a jar label on top of your jar and you are set!
I got all of my DoTerra oils from Jennifer Pack, an independent DoTerra Rep. She has all sorts of specials going on, and is willing to send any of my readers a free sample, just email her (jen@oilsformom.com) and tell her you saw this post. Or you can check her out on her facebook page and buy directly from her website.
