Picnic Hack with Glad Press’n Seal
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Glad, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #pressnsealhacks http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
My family loves to go on picnics. I love being outdoors and spending time together as a family, but I don’t love all the yucky germs that come with eating on a park picnic table. I don’t consider myself a really crazy germ-a-phobe, but I do worry about my kids’ hands and food touching a table that literally never gets cleaned. So I came up with a little hack to keep my kids germ free (and me a little less paranoid) while we are picnicking or camping.
Whenever I pack our picnic essentials, I always include a roll of Glad Press’n Seal, which I picked up at my local Walmart. I use it to pack up those leftovers, wrap up sandwiches, and I also love to use it as placemats… that’s right, I said PLACEMATS for our picnic table. Genius, right?
Simply unroll a little piece of Glad Press’n Seal, and stick it right to the picnic table. It’ll stick to pretty much any picnic table, even if it’s really dirty like our park’s tables were.
Once you stick it to the table, it won’t wiggle or wrinkle up and you’ve got yourself a quick and easy placemat. It’s so nice not to worry about keeping your kids’ hands off the table, or worry about a stray grape rolling off their plate (cause you know that’s terms for a full on tantrum). Then, once you’re finished eating, you just peal it up and toss it in the trash.
I love being with my family, and my kids always think having a picnic is super special, so I love this Press’n Seal hack I came up with. It helps me feel so much more at ease and I’m able to relax and enjoy my family without worrying about what could be on that picnic table. And that’s sure to make everything better for everyone.
