Thanksgiving Mantle {or shelves in my case}
Before I share my project for today, I want to give you a heads up that I’m over at Eighteen25 (sqeal!) today, sharing this cute “give thanks” banner. So make sure to check it out.
………………
I don’t have a fireplace at my house. It was a conscious decision when I built my house, not to have a fireplace. The thing I didn’t realize, though, is that I wouldn’t have a cute mantle to decorate for the holidays.
I’ve made do with my built in shelves, but I also love having my cafe shelves to decorate too! You can see how I’ve decorated my shelves {here}, and my Halloween shelves {here}.
So today, I want to show you my Thanksgiving Mantle… which is really just shelves.
And here is how I have them now- for Thanksgiving.
I absolutely LOVE these shelves! They are a focal point in my home for sure!
And they look so cute, right over my table.
Don’t you love my wooden box centerpiece? You can read about it {here}.
And this “give thanks” banner… it was SO easy to make. I’m sharing that tutorial on Eighteen25.
Altogether, it looks really cute!
There’s that cute centerpiece again!
And before I made my “give thanks” banner, I had this cute fabric banner up that my Aunt Michele made.
If you’d like to make your own cafe shelves, I used this tutorial from The House of Smiths. Make sure to check it out.
